Meet Carmen

Shafer Safety Solutions, L.L.C. is Women Owned Small Business owned and operated by Dr. Carmen Ann Shafer, PhD, CSP, CHST.  Carmen has over 20 years experience practicing environmental, safety and health compliance and management in both construction and manufacturing and is an AS9100 and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.

Carmen has extensive experience assisting small, medium and large businesses develop safety solutions that fit their specific industry segment and business structures.

Carmen has provided training for all levels, backgrounds and experiences and can tailor sessions to fit the specific needs and interests of her clients.  She has assisted clients during OSHA inspections and has successfully represented her clients’ interests through OSHA informal and formal hearing processes, resulting in a significant reduction in fines.
